I think it's ok. Based on the reviews I thought that this would be an awesome choice but its a little boring for my taste plus, my little girl doesn't care for it. i decided to run out to the dollar store and buy some little cards with shapes and colors on it and have her match them all up and she seemed to enjoy those much more. Just a thought for those who care for similar mental stimulation but not attached to the idea of a puzzle.

We bought this for our daughter's second birthday. She has recently shown more interest in puzzles and can do most peg puzzles on her own. She absolutely loves this. It is fun for her to find the matches, say the animal names or sounds, and put the pieces together. She sometimes needs help, but she can usually put the pieces together by herself once she has a match. This is a nice intermediate puzzle to move her to the next level from peg puzzles to regular ones and a great activity to do together. The pieces are very sturdy, but a child who is used to wood puzzles needs to be watched or they may chew on the pieces.

I recently started to do puzzles with my 20 month old and she loves this one. Instead of having all the pieces out, I only pull out 2 or 3 animals so shes not overwhelmed. she always brings the box over to me to play!

I bought this for my granddaughter and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is a very high quality product. It is a puzzle that promotes eye/hand coordination along with recognizing different animals.

Love how sturdy this puzzle is. Very easy to connect the right piece too. Simple puzzle but great to give them the first experience with a jigsaw puzzle. No small pieces to worry about choking. I plan to get more to give as gifts.
