I love these Trio blocks. My kids (3 & 4) get so involved in recreating the objects in the booklet and on the cover of the box and really enjoy making up new ones. They play with these blocks a lot. I even enjoy it. They are very good quality and will last a long time. A classic toy for using your imagination!

We bought this TRIO building set with storage to expand our collection, after our boys 3 yrs and 4 yrs loved the basic set. This set, combined with our basic (or intro) set, provides enough pieces for both boys to build something separate at the same time. The included booklet provides easy to follow photo diagrams and a list of parts needed to build each creation. Our 4 yr old (almost 5 yrs) with special needs is able to follow the instructions on his own, and our 3 yr old with a little help. They still play with these blocks everyday, 6 months after we got our first set. It keeps them busy for a long time, while they're learning to count, problem solve, working on fine motor skills, sharing between them, and many more educational lessons. They're beginning to get creative and are building their own designs. We love TRIO blocks!

I purchased this Trio building set for my almost 5 year old son for Christmas, and 4 months later he is still playing with them nearly everyday! My 3 year old also loves them. From reviews I was a little concerned that the pieces might be too hard for him to put together alone, but it just took him a few days to get the hang of it. They are fun and sturdy. What separates these blocks from others is that they stay together really well. My son can carry a large contraption around without worrying about pieces falling off. There is extra room in the bucket, so we've added some smaller sets to our collection. Trio blocks are without a doubt the most played with toy in our playroom. I am SO pleased with this purchase, and I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

we purchased this original trio set with the fire trio set. they are strong and durable. tons of possibilities in building and fun for my 3 and 5 year old children. only complaint is how few are included in the kit! this one kit of nearly 100 pieces only built one dino for my daughter and she was wanting more to build a fence for it. i think two sets are needed per child. for my children to enjoy this toy we will need at least 4 sets! i will buy more since i found a deal at a store for buy 1 get 1 free but otherwise its a spendy investment. both sets i bought easily fit into the one red tub with lid (lid does not snap on). buy as many sets as you can afford for the ultimate enjoyment!

I bought this set for my 4 year old son. All my kids enjoy playing with them from ages 4-10. This is the second set I have purchased. My son also received the fire station set as a gift. Now there is less fighting because of the additional pieces. I would recommend this toy.
