My daughter is 1 and she loves this doll. she is so enamoured by it when it talks and moves. If you child loves elmo - he/she will definitley love this doll. the only bad thing is that you can't really cuddle with it.

i bought this for my 3 yr old because she has loved elmo since she was probably 1 she even had the elmo live but this one just did not entertain her but for maybe a week she goes back to playing with the old one and she begged me for this one after seeing the commercial but just didnt like it so i dont know maybe every kid is different im just glad i got this with a amazon gift card she got for christmas or i would be mad if i paid cash for him

My two year old twins (and I) loooved this toy. However, after 2 months we had to return it. Even after replacing the batteries, Elmo stopped working. He would stop singing his songs half way through and freeze. Amazon was great and replaced it right away... but again, Elmo started freezing after another 2 months or so of use. (My kids played with this on and off, so I wouldn't say it was over used during this time.) We're now getting a refund from Amazon (thank you!) but am so dissapointed because it is a great toy, when it works.

My son received Elmo as a gift at his first birthday party last week. He was a little scared when he first saw it but was more in awe than anything else. Now, he loves to dance, clap and sing along with Elmo. It's adorable. I would definitely recommend this product to others.
