4 out of 5 stars My kids love this game!   April 20, 2010
A. Burgess (Columbus ,GA)
Found this at my local TJ Maxx for $9.99 (April '10). I was a little leery b/c of the reviews about the quality of the game being very cheap. Because of this I insisted on putting the game together myself so the kids wouldnt bend the cards or break anything. We have been very careful with the game while playing and have had no problems! The little score keeper marker does fall out easily but as long as you always play the game on a table and dont tip it I dont see it being a problem. I store it carefully and the kids only use it at the dining room table. I think thats why we have had no issues with the cheaper construction. Great game!

5 out of 5 stars FUN AND EDUCATIONAL!   February 6, 2010

This was purchased as a Christmas present for our Grandson, and he loves it. For Star War lovers, this is a fun game!

1 out of 5 stars They should be ashamed of the quality of this game!   January 27, 2010
T. B. (New England)
1) This is a great idea for a game.

2) The quality of this game is lower than things that I have gotten at a dollar store.

3) I spent a half an hour assembing the game trying not to break the pieces.

4) I was shocked to see that the game was made in the USA, as the product designer must be trying to make US manufacturing look bad. (As it is totally unassembled and flimsey, the profit margin must be huge, but that doesn't make it right!).

5) My son (4) actually asked why people would make the game so hard to assemble and flimsey.

6) We enjoy playing it, but need to reattach/adjust the little doors continually.

7) I'm so glad I did not pay full price for this.

8) You could almost make a matching game in the time it takes to assemble this if you have a bunch of wood blocks sitting around.

5 out of 5 stars Must Have for Little Star Wars Fans   January 9, 2010
California-Mom-of-3
Our boys, 5 and 6 1/2, got this for Christmas and played it for hours upon hours over Christmas break. It is by far the most successful board game we've gotten for our boys in terms of long-term interest and playability. They can play by themselves without assistance. Mom and Dad enjoy playing it as well. By the way, if your children are familiar with Star Wars characters, then your children don't need to be able to read to play this game. Our Pre-K son plays the game just as well as our 1st grader because he knows the Star Wars characters well enough to play without having to read the names on the cards.

As for the durability- yes, sometimes the cards fall out of their slots and sometimes the plastic flip-cards come off of the board. This happens pretty often, but it's not that difficult to fix and keep on playing (takes 5 seconds). We've gotten pretty used to having to adjust things from time to time and it's worth it for us because we all enjoy this game so much. Besides, it doesn't seem any different in quality than the other versions of Guess Who out there.
